Reviews and Ratings
I had a disappointing stay at this hotel, which felt stuck in a past era. The rooms were quite worn down and often smelled of cigarette smoke, even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. However, breakfast was surprisingly decent. The service was unfriendly, making the experience worse, and the location was a bit far from the center of Tashkent. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless absolutely necessary.
My stay at the Grand Orzu hotel was a mixed bag. On the positive side, it’s affordable and has a handy location near some stylish restaurants, making it a good choice for budget travelers. However, the noise from the courtyard restaurant could be bothersome, and the old bathrooms could use some serious updates. Overall, it’s decent for a short stay as long as you’re not looking for luxury.
My stay at the hotel was quite disappointing. It had a Soviet-era vibe that made everything feel old and unpleasant. The room wasn't up to standard and had a strange odor, but I actually appreciated the decent breakfast options. The staff's unfriendly demeanor and the overall atmosphere did not match my expectations at all.
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, especially since it was my first stop in Uzbekistan. The location is handy for the airport and quite nice, and the breakfast was simply fantastic! While the rooms could really use some updates and had a distinct odor in one of my stays, I still felt it was decent for a short visit. However, I wouldn't recommend this for a longer stay due to the condition of the rooms.
The Grand Orzu hotel offers decent value for money with clean accommodations and good air conditioning. It is conveniently close to the airport, but the location is a bit far from the city center. The breakfast is great, and the staff were helpful in arranging tours, although the pool is quite small. Overall, it's a basic but reasonable option if you're looking for an affordable stay.
